#Lovesick inmate’s gal pal says she’d marry him after jet ski escapade

She’s ready to take the plunge with him.

Jessica Radcliffe now says she’d marry the wacky British Romeo who has been jailed for breaking lockdown rules by riding a jet ski across the Irish Sea to visit her.

“If he asks me, I’ll say, ‘Yes.’ It’s definitely a story to tell our grandkids,” the 30-year-old mother of two told the Daily Record.

Radcliffe said she’s received messages from around the world about her lovesick beau, Dale McLaughlin, 28, who spent four and a half hours on the craft in his madcap dash – despite having no experience riding one and not knowing how to swim.

“People from Italy have sent pictures of jet skis saying, ‘This is for your boyfriend, showing our support,’” she told the outlet. “People from Ireland have said, ‘What he did is heroic. You should marry that man.’”

All McLaughlin has to do to live happily ever after is pop the question.

Last week, Radcliffe called her new boyfriend a hero and begged authorities to release him in time for Christmas.

“He is the best and everyone is right behind him, especially me … my hero,” she told the Daily Mail. “What man crosses the sea for a girl unless he was so besotted and completely in love?”

A police source has told the Isle of Man Newspapers that the jet ski only had 10 minutes of fuel left after the 25-mile journey, which McLaughlin initially thought would only take 40 minutes, when he encountered rough weather.

He was jailed for four weeks on Dec. 14 after admitting to arriving there unlawfully, according to reports.
