Is there trouble in paradise between Love Is Blind stars Colleen Reed and Matt Bolton? Some people might be disappointed by this answer…

As fans know, the couple fell in love and got engaged sight unseen after meeting in the pods during season three of the Netflix reality show. Despite experiencing some ups and (a lot of) downs once they returned to the real world, the two went on to say “I Do” at the altar during the season finale. While things seemed to be OK between them long after the show ended, she noticeably does not wear the engagement ring her hubby gave her – something fans have pointed out in the comments section of her posts! Now, Colleen is coming forward to reveal what’s going on. And no, it’s not another Love Is Blind divorce announcement!

The reality star took to Instagram Stories on Thursday to answer some fan questions. When one person asked about her rings, Colleen shared a picture of herself showing off that finger with a thin silver band and noted that she doesn’t wear her engagement ring anymore:

“I always wear my band but I’m waiting to see him get down on one knee with my own two eyes.”

As for why she doesn’t wear the bling now? The ballet dancer explained that Matt originally gave her a two-to-three-carat solitaire oval diamond with a simple band. But the problem is the ring didn’t fit and the diamond “popped off” the day after she got it! Oh no! When another follower asked for clarification if the ring from the show wasn’t good, Collen responded:

“There could be… improvements.”

Love Is Blind fans know the ring situation isn’t the only time the pair have raised some eyebrows. During the show’s reunion episode, Colleen and Matt revealed they still were not living together even though they’d been married for more than a year! The 27-year-old performer told host Nick and Vanessa Lachey that their decision boiled down to not only their leases, but they wanted to take things at their own pace following the show:

“It was due to the fact that we wanted to slow things down. I mentioned at the reunion that we got married in a weird way so we’re doing marriage in a weird way. It’s very hard to explain, but it works for us right now. We really just wanted to not mess this up and jump right into shared spaces, just slow it down a little bit. We can’t wait to move in around May of next year, hopefully buy a house, so we’ll see.”

Beyond their living situation, fans were concerned about other things, namely their speculation over some major red flags from his behavior and what they perceived to be her frightened looks during the reunion. However, she shut down the abuse allegations several times, including in an Insta post that read:

“During the reunion, I was not OK given the negative commentary I had experienced. I’ll be honest in saying I let the internet tear me down and take the light away from me. He has done everything possible to put a smile back on my face and bring me back. I held onto him for support. He reassured me that I was going to be OK. Watching it all back and filming the reunion only brought us closer than we ever thought we could get. I can’t thank him enough for being there for me.”
