“Love And Thunder BTS Image To Celebrate Chris Hemsworth’s Birthday”

Chris Hemsworth celebrated his 39th birthdays earlier this week, and his wife Elsa Pataky celebrated by sharing a new look at her Thor: Love and Thunder cameo appearance along with family shots of Hemsworth. Thor: Love and Thunder become a real family affair for Hemsworth as along with Pataky, the couple’s daughter India Rose Hemsworth played Love, the daughter of Gorr the God Butcher, and of course his brother Luke made an appearance as “actor” Thor.

Pataky’s Instagram post shared her sweet message for her husband, whom she married in 2010, and it read:

“Happy birthday to my favourite parrot trainer, kids handler and wife tamer, There’s nothing you can’t do. We love you to the moon and back.”

With the message, she shared an image of Hemsworth relaxing in a bath with the aforementioned parrot on his head, one of him being ganged up on by their children, and a final one of the pair of them as they appear in Thor: Love and Thunder. Pataky appeared very briefly in the opening montage of the movie, when Korg is relaying the story of Thor, including his many lovers, of which Pataky’s Wolf-woman is one.

As well has his birthday, Hemsworth has been able to celebrate Thor: Love and Thunder breaking through the $700 million mark at the worldwide box office, and it has also passed Thor: Ragnarok’s domestic total in the process. However it hasn’t been all good news for Taika Waititi’s second Thor movie as director, as the film has found itself picking up a number of negative reviews that has left it as one of the lowest rated MCU movies to date.

Thor: Love and Thunder Has Divided Many Fans.

Financially, Thor: Love and Thunder has continued to provide a decent return at the box office, but that doesn’t mean it has hit all the right notes with audiences and critics. Like most Marvel movies, the film’s opening weekend was huge as audiences packed in to see the film before the internet filled up with spoilers, but subsequently the volumes at the box office began to dip almost immediately throughout the rest of its run.

From a review perspective though, Chris Hemsworth’s latest outing as the God of Thunder left many feeling that they had seen something that worked more as a series of set-piece scenes interconnected mostly by jokes and some unconnected conversations or events. There were some who had an issue with the over-the-top comedy in the first half of the movie in particular, others who saw little point to the inclusion of Russell Crowe’s Zeus and those who felt Christian Bale as Gorr was a wasted opportunity thanks to his limited time on screen. As you would expect though, the movie has its supporters and in the end it is a Marvel movie, which allows a lot of the minor gripes to go unsaid.

With Thor said to be returning in another movie sometime in the future, there are many who believe that Thor’s next appearance needs to be thought out a little more than this one to prevent the much-loved character from slipping down the rankings again.
