#Loundraw Directs New Anime Short for Z-KAI Group

Earlier this month, the Japanese education company Z-KAI Group released another anime short that’s aimed at providing encouragement to exam takers. As with the 2022 short Futaribun no Shoumei, this new two-minute video, titled Itsuka no Watashi yori, is produced by FLAT STUDIO, the animation studio founded by illustrator loundraw.

Itsuka no Watashi yori focuses on Misato (Kana Ichinose), a high school student who is shown to be struggling in various areas at the start of the video. Eventually, with the support of her senior, Kai (Yuichiro Umehara), Misato notices a fact that helps her overcome her issues.

loundraw (Summer Ghost and Futaribun no Shoumei director, Vivy: Fluorite Eye’s Song original character design) storyboarded and directed the short, in addition to being its character designer, unit director, animation director, and background art director. Some of the other names listed in the production credits are:
