#Lost Stories Vertical Scrolling Manga Starts Serialization on December 6
A vertical scrolling manga inspired by the Code Geass: Lost Stories tower defense game will begin serialization on Bandana Comic on December 6 JST. It will also be available on a number of webstores like Line Manga, DMM Books, and Bookwalker.
Sunrise’s Kojiro Taniguchi (Code Geass: Lelouch of the Re;surrection manga) is the manga’s writer while Kaoru Hoshino (Ihoujin, Dungeon ni Moguru manga) is the artist. echoes is credited with “production.”
In the game, players can pick the gender of the protagonist, who is a half-Britannian and half-Japanese student who keeps their mixed heritage hidden.. The manga features the male version, Mario Disel (the female protagonist is named Maya Disel).
Code Geass: Lost Stories started service in Japan in 2022 and is available on mobile and PC. An English version was launched in 2023 for mobile but shuttered its services in August of this year. The press release for the game’s English launch described it as:
In “Code Geass: Lost Stories,” players jump into the game’s story to take up the fight against the Holy Britannian Empire. Players assume the role of the main protagonist, a trusted friend of Lelouch, and fans of the series will enjoy meeting familiar characters such as Kallen, Suzaku, and C.C. along the way, piecing together their own ‘lost stories’ found in the game as they battle through it.
f4samurai is credited with the game’s development management, while DMM Games has distribution credit. f4samurai entered the picture when the game underwent a development restart in 2021.
