#Amazon’s Prime Day Starts Early with These Deals on Paramount+, Starz, ‘Indiana Jones’ and More

Amazon Prime Day isn’t until July 11 and 12, but the e-commerce giant has already started rolling out deals, including on select Prime Video channels, movies and TV shows.

Now through July 12, Prime members can save 50 percent off on their first two months of AMC+ and Paramount+ (regularly $9-$12 monthly) and pay only 99 cents per month for the first two months of Starz (which includes access to Outlander season seven), PBS, PBS Kids, Noggin, Vix Premium, Cinemax, Britbox, Lifetime Movie Club, Hallmark Movies Now, Allblk, A&E Crime Central and more (reg. $3-$10).

Cord cutters can save when they buy or rent select films and TV shows now through the end of Prime Day. Among the digital movies on sale are new releases such as Dungeons and Dragons, One True Loves and Whitney Houston: I Want to Dance with Somebody alongside classics such as all four Indiana Jones films ($5 each, reg. $17 ea.), Dirty Dancing ($2 to rent) and more.

Eligible college students can also score a $6 Prime Video credit when they sign up for a free six-month trial of Prime Student now through Sept. 30. The free money must be used on Prime Video rentals or purchases within 30 days, and the Prime Student trial will be automatically renewed at $7.49 per month (half the price of the regular Prime monthly membership fee). Prime student includes all of the perks of the full-priced Prime membership (including free same-, one- and two-day shipping), as well as exclusive offers on Kindle Unlimited, textbooks, flights and hotels, food delivery and more; learn more about Prime Student here.

Amazon Prime Day 2023: When Does It Start?

Amazon Prime Day 2023 starts Tuesday, July 11, at midnight PT/3 a.m. ET and ends Wednesday, July 12.

If you want to access Prime Day 2023 deals, you’ll need an Amazon Prime membership, which costs $15 monthly or $139 annually. Member benefits include free two-day shipping, same-day delivery, access to content on Amazon Prime Video, exclusive savings and free two-hour delivery on Amazon Fresh or Whole Foods Market groceries, access to Prime Try Before You Buy and personal shopping services, special deals on subscriptions and other perks. Amazon Prime store cardholders also receive 5 percent cash back on purchases.

Prime members can sign up for alerts for personalized deals on online doorbusters ahead of the event. Those who don’t yet have an Amazon Prime membership can sign up for a 30-day free trial.
