#Live-Action Cowboy Bebop Netflix Series Wraps Season 1 Filming

Live-action Cowboy Bebop

It’s likely we’ll be seeing the space cowboy very soon, as the western Netflix live-action adaptation of Cowboy Bebop has wrapped filming its first season, female lead Daniella Pineda revealed on her Instagram account. The Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom star will be playing Faye Valentine in the series.

Pineda’s post reads: “I’m coming back on the air to say…..Season 1 of COWBOY BEBOP is finally, finished. Gonna dip again but will return after these messages.”

Filming hasn’t been easy for Cowboy Bebop. With lead actor John Cho, who is playing the infamous Spike Spiegel, breaking his knee and having to go through surgery to replace it causing the production to be shut down for the better part of a year, and then COVID-19 hitting and halting production a second time. Though this hasn’t deterred the cast and crew, with a second season reportedly already in the works.

It’ll be interesting to see what comes of Cowboy Bebop when we finally get to see anything from it. The series will be hitting Netflix at some point, when that is, well we’ll just have to wait on the wind…
