#Kawagoe Boys Sing Original Anime Will Premiere in October, New Trailer Released

The upcoming boys choir club-themed original anime Kawagoe Boys Sing has received an October 2023 premiere date and its first non-teaser trailer.

The new trailer focuses on previewing the characters’ speaking voices, versus the singing-centric teaser trailer from March.

Kawagoe Boys Sing will follow former choir member Tenshi Dei (Shoutarou Uzawa) as his peaceful high school life at Kawagoe Academy is disrupted by the sudden appearance of Haruo Hibiki (Kazuyuki Okitsu), a talented but troublesome former conductor who was expelled from the orchestra. In order to be reinstated, Haruo ropes in Tenshi and several others so that he can form a boys choir club and win the National Boys Choir Competition.

Jun Matsumoto (Infini-T Force Gatchaman Saraba Tomo yo) is directing with illustrator ebimo (High Card) as original character designer, Haru Watanabe (Osomatsu-san 3rd Season animation director) as character designer, and YUKI KANESAKA, Shin Rizumu, and Junko Yokoyama as music composers. evg is producing with assistance from Telecom Animation Film.
