Ron and Pat then welcome in renowned author Larry Sloman aka “Ratso.” Sloman wrote the book “Thin Ice: A Season in Hell With the New York Rangers.” The book details the 1979-1980 Rangers team, the year after they made the Finals and lost to the Montreal Canadiens. They talk about how the book came about, memories following that team around, the 1979 Finals and reaction from players and management to the book.
