#Listen to CocoRosie’s New Song With ANOHNI, Big Freedia, Brooke Candy, and Cakes da Killa

CocoRosie have shared a song urging listeners to vote President Trump out of office. “This Is the End of the Freak Show” is an updated version of 2016’s “Smoke ’Em Out.” Like that song, this one features ANOHNI, and the new version also has vocals from Brooke Candy, Big Freedia, and Cakes da Killa. CocoRosie said in a press release: “We are fired up to share a song that has already had more than one lease of life, re-birthed in a vital new form. Invigorated to be aligned with the fierce collaborators on this track in a time when we all need unity and lifting-up ever the more.”

Earlier this year, CocoRosie returned with Put the Shine On—their first album in five years, which featured a different rework of “Smoke ’Em Out.” ANOHNI recently released a protest song inspired by the 2020 Republican National Convention. Big Freedia teamed with Kesha on the single “Chasing Rainbows.”
