#Listen to Amanda Shires’ New Song “Our Problem” With Cyndi Lauper, Jason Isbell, Peaches, More

Amanda Shires has released a new song called “Our Problem,” timed to coincide with the 48th anniversary of Roe v. Wade. The star-studded track has Shires joined by Cyndi Lauper, Peaches, Peaches, Linda Perry, Angie Stone, K. Flay, Valerie June, K. Flay, Lilly Hiatt, Morgane Stapleton, Nona Hendryx, and others. Sheryl Crow played bass on the song, while Jason Isbell contributed guitar. Listen to that below.

At the end of last year, Shires released a cover of Genesis’ “That’s All.” The Highwomen member and Isbell both exited the Country Music Association in 2020 after the organization failed to honor the late John Prine during its annual awards broadcast. On the next episode of The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, Shires will perform the original version “The Problem” with Jason Isbell.
