#LiSA's Demon Slayer Film Theme Song Has Dominated Oricon's Digital Single Charts for 10 Consecutive Weeks

Along with the film, which has topped Japan's box office for ten weeks, its theme song has also been breaking records. According to the latest Oricon report, anison singer LiSA's 17th single song "Homura" (Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba the Movie: Mugen Train theme song) has dominated its digital single charts for ten consecutive weeks since its release on October 12. In its tenth week, it was downloaded 29,227 times, bringing its total to 739,193 times.

Now, "Homura" becomes the second song in Japan to stay at the top of the charts for ten consecutive weeks, following Kenshi Yonezu's "Lemon" in 2018. If the song stays at No. 1 next week, it will break the all-time longest record on the charts.

Meanwhile, the song returned to Oricon's weekly streaming ranking with 10,632,183 streams for the first time in three weeks since December 7. It has topped the ranking eight times so far and has streamed more than 10 million times for nine consecutive weeks. Its current cumulative number of streams is 132,986,137.
