Take your masks and shove ’em!

A Manhattan man insists the city’s elderly should be able to gather without COVID-19 restrictions, and calls Monday’s limited reopening of senior centers “not fair.”

Daniel Lipsman went to court May 24 to force the city to bring its senior centers back online, noting restaurants, bars, nail salons and other outlets have been open since mid-May.

Just two days after The Post reported on Lipsman’s litigation, in which he’s acting as his own lawyer, Mayor de Blasio announced senior centers would reopen Monday, with social distancing and mask rules in place.

“As far as i’m concerned I’ve been disrespected by the commissioner for the Department for the Aging, and by the mayor,” Lipsman told The Post.

Lipsman believes the city only made a move because of his lawsuit.

“I’m going to try to see to it that he doesn’t get away with opening it with restrictions that are really meaningless,” he said. “That’s not fair, it’s not reasonable.”

“We are so happy to welcome back older New Yorkers at senior centers, and we know they are excited to see their friends, participate in workshops and feel that sense of community that centers provide.”

A spokesperson for the Department for the Aging confirmed social distancing and masks will be required at senior centers, adding, “We are so happy to welcome back older New Yorkers at senior centers, and we know they are excited to see their friends, participate in workshops and feel that sense of community that centers provide.”
