#WATATEN! Anime VA Unit Wataten☆5 to Release Their 1st Album on November 25

Today, on the release day of the manga's latest eighth volume in Japan, the official website for the TV anime adaptation of Nanatsu Mukunoki's four-panel Yuri comedy manga Watashi ni Tenshi ga Maiorita! / WATATEN!: An Angel Flew Down to Me announced that the much-awaited first album of its five-member VA unit Wataten☆5 is set to be released on November 25, 2020. As reported, the 1,980-yen special edition of the volume comes with a bonus CD including the unit's new song "Mugendai Happiness COMICver.,"

 

The unit Wataten☆5 consists of the five voice cast members who played the girls of elementary school age in the anime – Maria Sashide (Hana Shirosaki), Rika Nagae (Hinata Hoshino), Akari Kito (Noa Himesaka), Hitomi Ohwada (Koyori Tanemura), and Naomi Ozora (Kanon Konomori). They performed the anime's OP song "Kimama na Tenshi-tachi" and ED song "Happy Happy Friends."

 

Their nine-song first album titled "Delicious Smile!" will feature the unit's four newly-recorded songs, as well as each member's solo songs. In addition, they will film a music video for the album's title song, which will be included in the bonus Blu-ray for the first press limited edition of the album.

The Doga Kobo-produced TV anime adaptation was aired for 12 episodes in Japan from January to March 2019, and has been available on Crunchyroll to its members worldwide except Asia.
