#Letitia Wright Deleting Her Twitter Account Is Why Sites Like Parler Is Gaining Followers! And That’s Not A Good Thing For Both Sites!

Letitia Wright, the actress that played Shuri in Black Panther and several British TV series, including Top Boy, Coming Up, Chasing Shadows, Humans, the Doctor Who episode “Face the Raven” and the Black Mirror episode “Black Museum”, recently deleted her Twitter account after been blasted for sharing her opinion about the vaccine. And they wonder why Parler blew up in popularity!

This has become a common occurrence on the platform known as Twitter. Now Black Panther actress Letitia Wright appears to have deleted her social media accounts after sharing a video that suggested a COVID-19 vaccine might not be safe for consumption yet, fearing the speed at which the vaccine was crafted, and with no suitable time allocated to monitor the reaction to the vaccine. From what I could see, there’s nothing inherently wrong with someone, even for Letitia Wright to share their thoughts about a vaccine that will enter her body.

In a post before her Twitter account was removed, she wrote: “My intention was not to hurt anyone, my only intention of posting this video was it raised my concerns with what the vaccine contains and what we are putting in our bodies. Nothing else.”

After replying to a number of followers who criticized her post, she wrote: “If you don’t conform to popular opinions, but ask questions and think for yourself….you get canceled.” It’s all pretty interesting. I understand the concern that people had about anti-vaxxers would hinder the progress of fighting Covid, but I also feel like she has every right to express her opinion, without feeling the need to conform to the popular opinion of the public. This is why sites like Parlor, which no matter how “free speech” it says that it easy, is essential a place for conservative and right-wing minded people go to espresso their thoughts without repercussion. This is something I have feared for a long time, we are effectively creating echo chambers. And as anyone knows, echo chambers can lead to a lot of misinformation, on both sides. Twitter and Parler are becoming echo chambers for their respective political alignment and that is not good for dialogue and discussion.

Anyways, Letitia Wright had every right to share her opinion, just like everyone else had a right to reply to it, but try to cancel her is one of the many problems in our society. Let me know what you guys think.
