The network confirmed it hasn’t fired Laura Ingraham.

Ingraham still hosts Fox show

A Fox News spokesperson told USA TODAY the claim is false.

“Laura Ingraham, the top-rated woman in cable news, is now and will continue to be a prominent host and integral part of the FOX News lineup,” the spokesperson said in an email, echoing a statement given to other media outlets.

Ingraham’s show, “The Ingraham Angle,” is still listed on the network’s website, and transcripts for each episode are still being regularly uploaded.

Ingraham continues to share clips of her show on Twitter, where her bio says, “Host, The Ingraham Angle, 10p ET @FoxNews.”

Fact check:Fake story about Tucker Carlson and Spotify deal shared as fact

The claim appears to have originated with a May 17 story from the Drudge Report website, according to Poynter. Following former anchor Tucker Carlson’s departure in April, the website’s headline claimed Sean Hannity, Jesse Watters and Greg Gutfeld would be switching time slots on Fox.

The website omitted Ingraham’s name, leading readers to speculate that she had been let go by the network.

At the time, Fox responded to the online speculation by simply saying, “No decision has been made on a new primetime line-up and there are multiple scenarios under consideration.”

USA TODAY reached out to the user who shared the post for comment but did not immediately receive a response.

The claim has also been debunked by Reuters.
