#Larsa Pippen reacts to Antron Pippen’s death on Instagram

Larsa Pippen took to Instagram to remember Antron Pippen, the late son of ex-husband and Chicago Bulls legend Scottie Pippen.

Scottie Pippen said Monday that Antron had died a week earlier at age 33.

A cause of death was not given.

“Some truths in life are hard to accept,” Larsa wrote Monday. “Your memories will never be forgotten! They will always remain with us forever. You are forever in our hearts, we love u and will miss u always [pray hands emoji] Rip Antron.”

The former “Real Housewives of Miami” star, 46, also shared a photo of Antron with the sons she shared with Scottie: Scotty Jr., 20, Preston, 18, and Justin, 15. Scotty Jr. and Justin posted the same photo to their respective Instagram Stories paying tribute to their half-brother. 

Larsa and Scottie, who also share a daughter, Sophia, 12, separated in 2015, when the 55-year-old Basketball Hall of Famer filed for divorce after accusing Larsa of having an affair. They briefly reconciled, but Larsa eventually filed for divorce in 2018. The estranged couple’s divorce has yet to be finalized.

Scottie Pippen is also dad to daughters Taylor and Sierra, both 26, whom he shares with exes Sonya Roby and Yvette Deleone. Taylor had a twin named Tyler, who died in the hospital shortly after birth.

Antron was the eldest of Scottie Pippen’s eight children and the only child he had with ex Karen McCollum, whom he was married to from 1988-1990.

In Scottie Pippen’s posts about his son’s passing, he said the two had a shared love for basketball.

“Antron suffered from chronic asthma and if he hadn’t had it, I truly believe he would’ve made it to the NBA. He never let that get him down, though — Antron stayed positive and worked hard, and I am so proud of the man that he became,” the Hall of Famer wrote in part.
