#When Will Ayumu Make His Move? & Rent-a-(Really Shy!) Girlfriend Gets English Release by Kodansha

Kodansha USA announced a series of new manga titles scheduled for Fall 2021. The publisher will release When Will Ayumu Make His Move? (Soredemo Ayumu Wa Yosetekuru Manga) written by Soichiro Yamamoto, the author of Teasing Master Takagi-san. The series will receive an anime adaptation in 2022. 

The series is described as: 

Ayumu is in love with his senpai Yaotome, but he’s sworn not to confess his feelings until he can beat her at the board game shogi… The problem is, his love is obvious to Yaotome, and she can’t stop trying to trick him into breaking his vow! Fall in love again, fans of Don’t Toy With Me, Miss Nagatoro, Komi Can’t Communicate, and Shikimori’s Not Just a Cutie!

Rent-a-(Really Shy!)-Girlfriend by Reiji Miyajima will also be released this fall. The spin-off manga series focuses on Sumi from Rent-a-Girlfriend. The manga series received an anime adaptation in 2020.
