#Kirsten Dunst asks Kanye West why she was used in 2020 campaign post

Kirsten Dunst has no idea why Kanye West included her in his latest presidential campaign art.

On Wednesday, West — who announced his 2020 presidential run in July — shared a collage on Twitter that featured “Kanye 2020 Vision” in boxes alongside a slew of faces including Dunst’s, as well as Vogue’s Anna Wintour.

“What’s the message here, and why am I apart of it?” the 38-year-old actress responded to West’s post.

A rep for Dunst confirmed Thursday to Page Six that West did not reach out ahead of time, nor was he authorized to use her photo. A source also told us permission to use Wintour’s photograph had not been granted.

“Anna has been a deeply committed supporter of the Democratic Party for many years, and is highly engaged in helping Biden/Harris win this November,” a spokesperson for Vogue said in a statement Thursday.

Earlier this summer, West declared that he will run for president as a member of the “Birthday Party,” despite missing the filing deadlines to get on the ballot in several states. He is currently on the ballot in three states and was booted off the Illinois ballot due to invalid signatures.

Last week, West showed off his “2020 Vision” merchandise, a hat and T-shirt, which appeared to have a similar design to the Vision Street Wear skate brand.

West has also released a presidential platform on his “Kanye 2020” website.
