The official site for the historical fantasy action anime Kingdom has announced that the anime will resume production in 2021, with appropriate precautions taken to ensure staff can continue production on the series. The series was planned to continue with its third season earlier this Spring, but the spread of COVID-19 across Japan forced much of the anime industry into a virtual standstill by April, which included the Kingdom anime.
