Khloé Kardashian has something to say to those who didn’t agree with her birthday message for Tristan Thompson!

ICYMI, the 38-year-old reality star took a moment to mark her ex-boyfriend and baby daddy’s 32nd birthday on Monday, making some eyebrow-raising comments about how he is “truly the best father.” She wrote at the time alongside some cute never-before-seen pictures of their baby boy and daughter True Thompson:

“You are truly the best father, brother & uncle. Your love, attention, silly dances, hugs, carpool rides, bed time rituals, the way u show up for them. All of the above means more than you’ll ever know to your family of littles. My birthday wish for u is that u continue to crave change, healing, and transformation. Be strong, be kind, be patient, be free. Continue to Make your soul and your mommy proud. Happy birthday baby daddy.”

Khloé noticeably turned off the comments on the post, as she most likely suspected that some fans would have a few negative things to say about her kind words to Tristan. Because while the basketball player could be a great dad to their son and True, he has not been the best to his other child, Theo, whom he fathered while cheating on The Kardashians star (again). We mean, this is the same guy who has made zero effort to be in the kid or the baby momma Maralee Nichols‘ life ever since he was born in 2021.

Most people would argue this detail alone does not make Tristan father of the year – and they weren’t afraid to point that fact out either. Her followers flooded the comments section of a selfie Khloé uploaded on Tuesday to voice their opinions about the birthday post, writing:

“Good father ? But doesn’t support Theo! Hard pass sis not a good look.”

“he’s a good dad to YOUR kids. if he completely abandons one, he is going to do it again. you should know.”

“Tristan!! Girl please!! Get some self esteem and respect!”

“You can still co-parent without a birthday post if you want him back just say that.. Tristan is not a good father or boyfriend. A good dad take care of ALL his children regardless of the relationship with the mother.”

Khloé seemed to catch wind of the criticism and chose to fire back at everyone in her usual way! Yes, Koko got cryptic yet again! She took to Instagram Stories on Tuesday to drop a quote about no one deserving her “good heart” after what she’s dealt with over the years. It read:

“[Shout-out] to myself bc after everything I’ve been through I still have a good heart, even when people don’t deserve it.”

The Good American founder definitely has shown A LOT of grace to Tristan, even though no one would blame her for keeping their relationship to nothing more than co-parenting after he cheated on her repeatedly throughout their relationship. She then dropped another passage about how there are “good souls” who give the same energy no matter what, adding:

​​“I hope you have the courage to let go of your fears and stay open enough to let all the good things flow right in.”
