#Keanu Reeves BRZRKR Spinoff Anime Series Announced by Netflix

Netflix announced that it has acquired the rights to BOOM! Studio comic series BRZRKR, created and written by Keanu Reeves. The series will receive an anime series spinoff after the live-action featured film adaptation. 

Additional staff on the comic series includes writer Matt Kindt, illustrator Ron Garney with colors by Bill Crabtree, letters by Clem Robins, and character designs and covers by Rafael Grampá. 

Reeves will reprise his role and voice his character in the anime series, but further details have yet the be announced such as the production studio.

Last year, Netflix and CD Projekt Red announced a 10-episode anime series set in the Cyberpunk 2077 univerise titled Cyberpunk: Edgerunners. Studio TRIGGER (Promare, Little Witch Academia) is in charge of the animation production. The game series features Reeves, but there are no details of his involvement in this anime adaptation. 

Netflixe describes the series as:

A brutally epic saga about an immortal warrior’s 80,000 year fight through the ages.
