The original track appeared on Busta Rhymes’ last album, Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God.
After sharing his latest single “Caution” on TikTok last week, KAYTRANADA is back with a remix of Busta Rhymes and Vybz Kartel’s 2020 single “The Don & The Boss.” Originally appearing on Busta’s last album Extinction Level Event 2: The Wrath of God, KAYTRANADA’s take swaps dark, trap-adjacent production for winding synths and claps.
Most recently, Busta Rhymes appeared on an updated version of late rapper Phife Dawg’s 2016 single “Nutshell” alongside him and Redman. Last month, Kartel shared the track “Popular”, featuring his son Likkle Addi, from his Dancehall Royalty EP.
