Kanye West on Friday called on his presidential opponents Donald Trump and Joe Biden to study a 2001 book about empowering the black community which White House senior adviser Jared Kushner described as “phenomenal.”

The book, “PowerNomics: The National Plan to Empower Black America,” was written by Dr. Claude Anderson, an official in the Jimmy Carter administration, and includes a plan on how to make African Americans a “prosperous and empowered race that is self-sufficient and competitive as a group.”

“Both Biden and Trump need to meet with Dr. Anderson as soon as possible about restoring the black community,” West wrote in a tweet on Friday afternoon.

The rap mogul is continuing his quixotic White House bid despite missing the deadline to be on the ballot in several crucial states and recently met with Kushner in Colorado to discuss policy.

Kushner, a close friend of West who is also the president’s son-in-law, told Fox News the rapper had recently sent him a copy of “PowerNomics.”

“Kanye sent me a book about a month ago called ‘PowerNomics.’ I read the book,” Kushner told “Special Report” host Bret Baier on Thursday.

“It was absolutely phenomenal, it actually incorporated a lot of the things that President Trump has been doing,” he continued.

Kushner said he distributed copies of the book in the White House “because I think there’s a lot of inspiration we can get from it for President Trump’s second-term agenda.”

West, 43, released his 10-point presidential platform this week, which includes restoring prayer in classrooms and reforming the police.

He announced his White House bid on July 4 under the “Birthday Party” and said God told him he was going to run for president while he was in the shower in 2015.

The father of four was recently booted off the presidential ballot in both New Jersey and Illinois after his campaign was accused of faking signatures of support, with his path to the White House looking increasingly impossible.
