#Kana Hanazawa and Mori Calliope’s Vocals Unite for “Tokyo Friday Night” Song

Music producer/beat maker Joint Beauty recently released the song “Tokyo Friday Night,” which features vocals by Kana Hanazawa and hololive English VTuber Mori Calliope (Mori also co-wrote the lyrics with Yojo Seijiro). 

In addition to the digital release of “Tokyo Friday Night” on platforms like Spotify and YouTube Music, there’s an animated music video directed by Abeshiori and “supported by” the Nagoya Zokei University of Art and Design. Comfortable colors complement the soothing yet lively vibe of the song, and the video ends with Hanazawa and Mori becoming acquainted after a night at a dance club.

Music Natalie reported that “Tokyo Friday Night” will be one of the four songs in the YOLO Vol. 1 EP, which releases on June 26 JST.
