#Justin Bieber’s summer tour postponed to 2022, report says

Justin Bieber may have a lot of “sorrys” for his fans.

The pop star’s summer tour that was scheduled to begin on June 2 has been postponed until 2022, according to Variety.

Representatives for Bieber did not immediately respond to a request for comment from The Post.

Bieber’s tour had booked indoor venues where COVID restrictions may be more strict than outdoor arenas. The 27-year-old was expected to kick off in San Diego and include other Golden State venues. There is still much uncertainty that all counties in California — which has shown a decline in coronavirus cases — will have allowed full capacity for indoor shows in June.

Bieber’s site currently still lists other tour stops in states including Nevada, Arizona, Utah, Oregon, Washington State, Missouri, Minnesota and Illinois

Many major music venues are fully booked into 2022, according to Variety, after artists were forced to cancel and delay their tours due to the pandemic.

The “Yummy” singer’s tour was postponed once before and was originally scheduled for 2020; he subsequently announced last July that it was being pushed back to 2021. His opening acts were to include Kehlani and Jaden Smith; however, they dropped out when the tour dates were changed.

Even with the uncertainty about touring, Bieber is still staying busy. It was recently announced that he would be collaborating with K-pop superstars BTS on a brand new song. A source told Page Six, “They are taking their time on it and going to make sure it is released right.” The track “could be part of a deluxe release of [Bieber’s recently released album] ‘Justice’ to keep the album on the charts,” according to an insider. It would be the record’s second re-release, following the “Triple Chucks Deluxe” edition.

The native Canadian has been quiet on social media regarding his postponed tour. But he did catch some heat from fans when he shared a photo on Instagram wearing dreadlocks, with some accusing him of cultural appropriation and commenting with disgust. One fan asked, “WTF were you thinking?” Another user added, “U look dumb AF!”

“For someone who claims to be so ‘woke’ about the Black Lives Matter movement, this sure is ignorant of you,” another commenter chimed in.
