Saturday Night Live has confirmed its first episodes for December with Billie Eilish set to make her debut as host while also performing live on the night. She joins a select number of musicians who have handled both aspects of the SNL job, with the list going back to Desi Arnaz in 1976 and, more recently, Drake, Justin Bieber, Miley Cyrus, Harry Styles, and Halsey.
The Billie Eilish episode of SNL will air on December 11. A week later, on December 18, Charli XCX will be the musical guest alongside host Paul Rudd. XCX recently confirmed details of new album Crash, due in 2022, as well as a documentary charting the creation of her previous album, how i’m feeling now.
This weekend’s episode of SNL will be hosted by Shang-Chi star Simu Liu with music courtesy of Saweetie.
