“#Apple Sets a Date for Its iPhone 13 Launch Event – Review Geek”

Apple’s “California Streaming” launch event starts September 14th at 1 PM EST, the company has announced. We expect Apple to launch four models of iPhone 13 at the event and reveal a release date for iOS 15. Other products could also make an appearance, though Apple’s plans are unpredictable this year due to the global semiconductor shortage.
Leaks and rumors suggest that the iPhone 13 is an incremental upgrade on last year’s iPhone 12. It will take on the same flat-edged form factor but may pack a larger camera bump, smaller FaceID notch, and extra photography features (such as an astrophotography mode).
There’s a good chance that the Pro and Pro Max models of iPhone 13 will pack 120Hz displays, but the standard iPhone 13 and 13 Mini could stick with 60Hz screens. That’s right—we still expect Apple to release an iPhone 13 Mini despite the 12 Mini’s lackluster sales.

While we’re 99% sure that Apple will announce the iPhone 13 on September 14th (you can never be 100% sure), it’s hard to say if the company will show off any other products. Experts hope to see the Apple Watch Series 7, a minor upgrade over last year’s model. The 16-inch MacBook Pro running an upgraded M1X chip is also a possibility, as it failed to make an appearance at Apple’s last event (presumably due to supply issues).
Some people are even crossing their fingers for a new AirPods product, likely a replacement for the original AirPods (which are getting a bit long in the tooth). But if rumors are correct, these mysterious new earbuds won’t come out until sometime in 2022. An announcement in spring of next year seems more appropriate, given Apple’s seasonal event schedule.
Apple’s event will go live on September 14th, and like previous events, it will stream on YouTube, the Apple website, and within the Apple TV. If you want something fun to fill your time until September 14th, visit the Apple Events page on your iPhone or iPad and tap the event logo for a fun AR experience.
