#Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney’s Wrexham AFC to Be Focus of New Men In Blazers Weekly Series

Wrexham AFC, the U.K. football club owned by Ryan Reynolds and Rob McElhenney — and the focus of the recently renewed FX series Welcome to Wrexham — is getting the Men In Blazers treatment.

The soccer, er, football-focused podcast network is in the middle of an expansion push, and as part of that has decided to launch a show dedicated to Wrexham, one that will take a closer look at the week-to-week performance of the club, as it seeks to rise through the English Football Pyramid.

The program, This Week in Wrexham, will be hosted by Thomas Wynne Lewis – AKA “Tommy Cheese,” a local who will “create warm and human weekly travelogs following the team home and away.” He will also join Men In Blazers co-founder Roger Bennett in co-hosting a monthly program interviewing someone from the Wrexham playing team or back office.

The podcast is being sponsored by STōK Cold Brew Coffee (it also happens to be the team’s stadium sponsor), and will give U.S. Wrexham fans a place to catch up on the week that was for the team, months before they see it on the FX series.
