#I’m Quitting Heroing TV Anime Gets New Character Trailer Focusing on Leo Demonheart

Leo Demonheart is the focus of the first character trailer for the upcoming fantasy TV anime I’m Quitting Heroing, which is adapting Quantum‘s fantasy light novel series of the same name. The trailer has Hitomi Owada as Lili narrating over the video giving her commentary. 

The Twitter account for the I’m Quitting Heroing TV anime confirmed tonight that the voice recording for the series has been completed safely ahead of its broadcast in April.

The I’m Quitting Heroing TV anime comes from director Hisashi Ishii at EMT Squared with Shigeru Murakoshi adapting the story for series composition and Hiroki Nakano adapting Hana Amano‘s character designs for animation. It’s set to premiere on Japanese TV in April 2022. The novel’s manga adaptation is illustrated by Nori Kazato and has its English edition released digitally on BOOK WALKER Global since September 2021. The site describes the series as such:

After saving the world, the strongest hero Leo became someone who is not wanted in the peaceful human world. He was too strong. Exiled, he seeks a job at the Demon King’s Army, which he had defeated and needs to be rebuilt. The Army had many problems: too much work, financial troubles, etc. Leo starts to make things better using his power. Leo encounters Echidna again, and asks her why she invaded the human world. There was an unexpected story—!
