The cat sure hasn’t got Joe Exotic’s tongue these days.

One week after his bizarre letter referencing George Floyd’s death, the jailed “Tiger King” star has name-dropped Floyd yet again in a wild written rant on police reform addressed to a fan. The ex-zookeeper’s inflammatory correspondence came amid Black Lives Matter activists’ calls to defund the police following the death of Floyd while in police custody last month.

“You got the attention of the world over the murder of Mr. Floyd. Now you want to take the police out of your cities,” wrote Exotic, 57, in the note transcribed by SWNS news service.

Exotic — whose real name is Joseph Maldonado-Passage — had penned the note to Kathleen Lafferty, a 29-year-old Wisconsin resident who has never met the caged ex-tiger-tamer in person.

In the scatterbrained tirade, the cat wrangler also took potshots at the US prison-industrial complex, claiming that authorities “lie on police reports and in court” in order to perpetuate the “American slave trade.” He specifically targeted Unicor, the US government’s prison labor program, claiming they work prisoners for “50 cents an hour.”

To overthrow the corrupt prison system, Exotic urged readers to “demand a law be passed to charge these people with power for perjury and internal corruption,” adding that “the problem does not stop on the street.

“You must go inside, behind the closed doors where the cover-ups and the dirty deals are done between the people in power in order to legally kidnap you or your loved ones,” the jailbird writes. In the rant, he implores Lafferty to be the “voice of millions” victimized by the for-profit prison machine.

Exotic concludes the note by saying his case should be reopened because of “false statements and perjury.”

But that wasn’t his sole call to action. Attached to the letter was a standard response to Lafferty’s fan mail drafted by one of Exotic’s lawyers, claiming that Exotic’s “privileged mail is being opened, copied, and delayed up to one month.” It urged the unnamed “Joe Exotic fan” to “help him seek his release from his unexplained solitary confinement.”

This isn’t the only head-scratching correspondence the ex-cat-keeper penned from the clink. Last week, the former Oklahoma zoo owner compared himself to Floyd in a bizarre letter pleading with President Trump to spring him from prison.

He also claimed that his husband, Dillon Passage, had been taking advantage of him while he was behind bars — an accusation Passage denies.

The ex-owner of the Greater Wynnewood Exotic Animal Park in Wynnewood, Oklahoma, is serving a 22-year sentence for allegedly hiring a hitman to kill his zoo rival, Carole Baskin, as well as killing tigers and selling cubs.
