#Joe Biden’s ridiculous denial that cop-defunders are overwhelmingly Democrats

President Joe Biden still refuses to admit that “Defund the Police” is a purely left-wing campaign.

The latest: At a CNN town hall last week, he insisted that anyone who calls Democrats anti-police is “lying” and then compared such claims to a QAnon conspiracy theory that former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton killed a child and drank her blood.

Before that, the prez noted that defunding police isn’t in the party platform and that cops don’t think Biden is against them because “they know me, period.”

Never mind that Biden has commended and proudly stood beside local Democrats behind police-funding cuts in some of the country’s most crime-ridden cities. Nor that he tapped Vanita Gupta, a top leader of the handcuff-cops movement, to be No. 3 at the Justice Department.

Yes, lefties are upset that Biden and Democratic moderates are trying to quash “Defund” rhetoric. But it’s beyond ridiculous that the prez keeps insisting that Republicans are the real defenders based merely on their votes against his “COVID relief” bill back in March.

“Defund” is poison with voters nationwide but the bread-and-butter of many Democratic politicians. No one believes Biden when he suggests otherwise.
