Highlights from Saturday’s Jets practice:

By George!

Undrafted rookie wide receiver George Campbell made a few nice catches on Saturday, including a 43-yard touchdown pass from quarterback David Fales. With just six healthy wide receivers, Campbell is getting plenty of work.

Revolving door

The Jets looked out of sync offensively with so many moving parts. QB Sam Darnold looks like he can’t find a rhythm as he works with different receivers constantly. Josh Malone, Chris Hogan and Jamison Crowder as the starting receivers Saturday.

Caught my eye

DL Quinnen Williams had a would-be sack of Darnold on Saturday. There is no tackling in practice, so sacks are assumed, but Williams got in the backfield quickly and made the play. It has been a quiet camp for Williams, but he was disruptive on this one.

Medical report

The Jets lost another wide receiver in practice when Jeff Smith went down with a shoulder injury. He was scheduled to undergo an MRI exam Saturday afternoon. LB James Burgess returned from his back injury and CB Brian Poole did some limited work after missing the past two weeks following an extreme reaction to dehydration. RG Greg Van Roten (oblique) was limited. The following players remained out: WR Lawrence Cager (knee), WR Denzel Mims (hamstring), WR Breshad Perriman (knee), OL Conor McDermott (knee), RB Josh Adams (hamstring), CB Pierre Desir (hamstring), S Matthias Farley (hamstring), OLB Tarell Basham (ankle) and DL Jabari Zuniga (quad). — Brian Costello
