Mekhi Becton is a big man with a big necklace.

The Jets rookie tackle said he spent $175,000 on a gold chain with a large ticket stub pendant that reads, “Big Ticket: Admit One.”

“Big Ticket” is Becton’s nickname. TMZ Sports reported the necklace includes 120 carats of white diamonds and more than kilo of gold.

“I go by ‘Big Ticket,’ so I had to have a ‘Big Ticket’ piece,” Becton said Thursday. “I would’ve had it for the draft, but we didn’t have a draft. So, it was prolonged to now.”

The 6-foot-7, 370-pound tackle was the Jets’ first-round pick, taken No. 11 overall in April. He received a four-year, $18.5 million deal with an $11 million signing bonus. Becton said the necklace was his big purchase.

Becton’s Jets teammates like his new bling.

“They like it a lot,” Becton said. “They think it’s real cool. They’re always asking about it.”

The Jets concluded training camp on Thursday. The team decision-makers will now cut the roster to 53 players from 80 by Saturday at 4 p.m. Sunday will feature waiver claims from other teams, then the Jets can turn their attention to the Bills and Week 1 on Monday.

Coach Adam Gase praised his players’ approach during this unusual training camp.

“I think the players did a great job staying focused,” Gase said. “I know it was an unusual training camp, a lot of walk-throughs, rep wise. When you look at the total reps, we probably had more when you include the walk-throughs, but obviously less of the actual live competition compared to what it’s been in the past.”

Gase said a big factor in how smooth training camp went was the team’s decision to buy out a hotel that is adjacent to the team’s training center. That cut down on travel time and created a dorm-like setting.

“I think Christopher [Johnson, team CEO] has been phenomenal,” Gase said. “Anything that I’ve requested, we’ve gotten. Them buying out the [hotel] was awesome, I asked for that at the last second, where it was like, I don’t know why, we started having discussions about that in the spring when this was going on of, ‘Hey, let’s create like a dormitory atmosphere.’ ”

After conducting meetings virtually in camp, the Jets will now shift to more in-person meetings in the regular season with fewer players on the roster.
