Jeshi has teamed up with Nigerian artist Obongjayar for a new song. “Protein” is the latest song from the East London rapper’s forthcoming debut LP, Universal Credit, to be revealed. The video for the song picks up from where past single “3210” left off, with Jeshi riding in the back of a car and rapping while being tailed by uniformed officials. Jeshi announced Universal Credit last month with the release of “3210,” which was remixed by Ross From Friends two weeks ago. Last December, he shared “Generation,” before following it up in January with the Fredwave-assisted “Another Cigarette.” Both songs will appear on the album. Universal Credit arrives on May 27 via Because Music.
