Jeremy Lin is returning to America, giving the NBA another shot.

The former Knick announced the move following a strong season in the Chinese Basketball Association with the Beijing Shougang Ducks.

“This decision has really been the hardest in my life,” Lin told his seven million followers in Mandarin in a tear-filled video on Weibo. “Every morning I would wake up at 4 a.m. or 5 a.m., thinking, thinking and thinking all the time.

“In the end, although Shougang has treated me incredibly well … giving me everything I wanted, in the end, I feel that I still have NBA dreams. I still have time to play and I have to chase this.”

Lin, 32, spent nearly a decade in the NBA after starting his career with the Warriors in 2010 before his breakout in New York with the Knicks during “Linsanity” in 2012. He also played for the Rockets, Hornets, Nets, Hawks and Raptors.

But after winning a title with the Raptors last year, he admittedly hit “rock bottom” looking for a new team and opted to go to China, where he led the Ducks to the CBA playoff semifinals for the first time in five years. He averaged 22.3 points, 5.7 rebounds and 5.6 assists and reached the CBA All-Star game.

“I know that many of my fans have stood by me no matter if I was injured,” Lin said. “Why was this decision so difficult? Yesterday, when I shared this with my family and friends, when I told them I would have to leave China, I cried.”
