Jensen Ackles Will First Be Seen on The Boys

Jensen Ackles is probably best known for his role on Supernatural, which he starred on for 15 seasons alongside Jared Padalecki. A prequel series dubbed The Winchesters is also in the works at The CW with Ackles executive producing and serving as the show’s narrator. But even with his return to the Supernatural franchise imminent, there are other starring roles on the horizon for Ackles for fans to first check out.

On June 3, 2022, Prime Video will debut the highly anticipated third season of The Boys. The satirical superhero series will introduce Ackles as Soldier Boy, a parody of Captain America who’s an overly patriotic superhero, but with a sinister side. This casting has been generating a lot of excitement for season 3, and fans won’t have to wait long to see Ackles as he will debut in the season’s first episode.

Last year, Ackles had also voiced Bruce Wayne in the animated hit Batman: The Long Halloween. He was also working on the Alec Baldwin movie Rust before a tragic accident shut down the project’s production.
