#Skeleton Knight in Another World Reveals April Premiere, New Trailer and Visual
Skeleton Knight in Another World is set to make its premiere in April. Aside from the release date announcement, a new trailer and visual have been released.

The trailer provides a preview of the characters and their voices, with the cast including Tomoaki Maeno as Arc, Ai Fairouz as Ariane, Miyu Tomita as Chiyomi, Nene Hieda as Ponta. 

Skeleton Knight in Another World is based on the light novel series by written by Ennki Hakari and illustrated by Akira Sawano, which began in 2015 and released its ninth tankoubon volume in March 2019. It is published under the OVERLAP Novels label. A manga adaptation began in 2017.

Seven Seas describes the light novels’ first volume as:

One day, a gamer played video games until he fell asleep…and when he woke up, he found himself in the game world–as a skeleton! Equipped with the powerful weapons and armor of his avatar but stuck with its frightening skeletal appearance, Arc has to find a place for himself in this new, fantastical land. All his hopes for a quiet life are dashed when he crosses paths with a beautiful elven warrior, setting him on a journey full of conflict and adventure.

The anime’s staff includes Katsumi Ono (Hypnosis Mic: Division Rap BattleSymphogear XV) as director, Shigatsu Yoshikawa (Super Cub episode director) as assistant director, Takeshi Kikuchi (Ragnastrike Angels) as series composer, Tooru Imanishi (Super Cub) as character designer, Hideki Inoue (Super Cub chief animation director) as sub-character designer, and Yoshihiro Nagamori (Beyblade Burst QuadDrive avatar designer) as monster designer.

Other staff include Chiho Nakamura (Deca-Dence) as color designer, Kusanagi’s Kenta Tsuboi (D4DJ First Mix) as photography director, Seito Yamamoto (Deep Insanity THE LOST CHILD) as art director, and eba (Puchimas! Petit Idolmaster “zone of fortune” music arrangement) and Tsubasa Itou (Iwakakeru -Sport Climbing Girls-) as music composers. Studio KAI and HORNETS are in charge of the animation production.
