Last month, The Pokémon Company International announced big plans for the 25th anniversary of Pokémon, complete with Katy Perry serving as the premier collaborator on the year-long campaign. A year of "surprise music events and superstar collaborations" was teased in the process, and we have our first with the announcement of a Pokémon Day virtual concert featuring Post Malone.
The event is set to go down on February 27 at 7:00pm Eastern Time, so prepare yourself for what the description calls "the concert you never saw coming"—and Post Malone's transformation into a Pokémon Trainer or something?—below.
