The spring 2022 anime season is in full swing with new premieres every day. In the lead up to the first premiere, Japan’s largest movie, drama, and anime review service, Filmarks, released the top 10 anime shows their users are most looking forward to in the current season, with SPY x FAMILY snooping around the top of the rankings.

These rankings from Filmarks are as of March 31 and are based on the number of “Clips” a member of the service has for a series, basically the service’s form of adding the series to its “want to watch” list. Crunchyroll had no say over these rankings; we are just as interested to see what Japanese people want to watch as you are!

Here’s the full top 10:

10. Kingdom Season 4 – 708 clips

9. Thermae Romae Novae – 713 clips

8. Aharen-san wa Hakarenai – 717 clips

7. A Couple of Cuckoos – 769 clips

6. Aoashi – 803 clips

5. Summer Time Rendering – 1,137 clips

4. TIGER & BUNNY 2 – 1,243 clips

3. The Rising of the Shield Hero Season 2 – 1,468 clips

2. Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -Ultra Romantic- – 1,596 clips

1. SPY x FAMILY – 6,083 clips

While it’s no surprise SPY x FAMILY is at number one, the wide gap between it and Kaguya-sama: Love Is War -Ultra Romantic-‘s clips are vast, unexpected, and surprising!
