#I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level Season 2 Celebrates the Holidays in 4th New Visual

A fourth new key visual has been released for the upcoming second season of I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level, showcasing the main characters celebrating the wintery holiday season. Season two is expected to air in Japan in April 2025.
The new visual shows the main heroine Azusa Aizawa bringing gifts to Shalsha, Falfa, and Sandra as they build a snowman, with a decorated Christmas tree in the background.

Kunihisa Sugishima (Battle Spirits: Shounen Toppa Bashin) is directing the second season, with Naohiro Fukushima (My Isekai Life: I Gained a Second Character Class and Became the Strongest Sage in the World!) as series screenwriter, Hikaru Kodama (Doctor Elise: The Royal Lady with the Lamp sub-character designer) as character designer, and Keiji Inai returning as music composer. Teddy is in charge of the animation production, taking over from Revoroot, who worked on the first season.

The anime series is based on the isekai fantasy light novels, written by Kisetsu Morita and illustrated by Benio. It was first published by SB Creative’s GA Novel label on January 14, 2017 and has released 25 volumes as of August 2024, with a 26th volume set for release on December 15, 2024. It originally started as a web novel published by Morita on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website in June 2016 and ended in November 2021.
A manga adaptation by Yusuke Shiba began in December 2018, and has also inspired multiple spin-offs. Yen Press releases both the light novel series and main manga adaptation in English for North America, as well as several spinoffs.

Crunchyroll streamed the first season of I’ve Been Killing Slimes for 300 Years and Maxed Out My Level, which aired in Japan from April 2021 to June 2021. The main synopsis is described as:
After dying of overwork in the real world, I’m reincarnated as an immortal witch, and I spend 300 years enjoying a relaxing life. At some point, though, I end up at level 99! All those years spent killing slimes to make the money to pay the bills gave me a ton of experience points. Rumors of the level 99 witch spread, and soon I’m up to my ears in curious adventurers, duelist dragons, and even a monster girl calling me her mom! I’ve never been on an adventure, but I’m the strongest in the world… What’s going to happen to my relaxing life?!
