It’s time to check up on “Jack and Diane.”

After a four-year hiatus from touring, John Mellencamp is returning to auditoriums, theaters, performing arts centers and halls as part of his massive 77-concert “Live and In Person Tour.”

The demand to see the 70-year-old Rock and Roll Hall of Famer in 2023 is high too.

So high, in fact, that Mellencamp has added a fourth show to his three-night stint at New York City’s Beacon Theatre. He’ll now be there on June 5, June 6, June 7 and June 9.

And with prices starting at $45 before fees* on Vivid Seats for the June 5 show at the time of publication, your wallet won’t “Hurt So Good” if you buy now.

He also just tacked on a third show at Chicago’s Chicago Theatre on April 15 as well, after his April 13 and April 14 gigs weren’t enough.

Plus, there are no promises, but since Mellencamp collaborated with Bruce Springsteen on the 2022 album “Strictly A One-Eyed Jack,” there’s a slight possibility The Boss may even show up on the tour.

From Feb. 5 through June 24, the “Pink Houses” singer will tirelessly trek all over North America, often playing multiple nights in cities since tickets sold out so quickly.

Just a few notable stops on the expansive run include Atlanta (Feb. 10), Seattle (March 15), Las Vegas (March 24, March 25), Nashville (May 8, May 9, May 10) and Philadelphia (June 3).

John Mellencamp new album

Mellencamp’s most recent album, “Strictly A One-Eyed Jack,” is 12 tracks of pure Americana.

Featuring Bruce Springsteen on a trio of tunes— “Did You Say Such A Thing,” “Wasted Days,” and “A Life Full of Rain”— the record shows that the rock veteran still has a trick or two up his sleeve 25 albums deep into his career.

Pitchfork claims Mellencamp’s latest serves as “proof that he can still surprise us this deep into his career.”

He also recently re-released his classic 1985 album “Scarecrow” as well.

It may be difficult to find Mellencamp next year while he crisscrosses all over the States, but we know one spot where you can find him at all times.

The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame just installed “Legends of Rock: John Mellencamp,” which includes his 1976 Fender Telecaster Custom guitar, studio tracking chart for “Jack and Diane” from 1981 and an oil painting “Backbone” (2022) by Mellencamp himself.

Mellencamp doesn’t just play rockin’ music, headline at Farm Aid annually, and stand up for the underdog — he also paints.

Inspired by German expressionism, his work is being shown at the New York Academy of Art.

“Mellencamp’s paintings and assemblages document America’s heart and soul, revealing unsettling but beautiful truths with a kind of anti-establishment frown and a rich sense of narrative,” the NYAA said in a statement.
