On Sunday, the girlfriend of Bengals rookie quarterback Joe Burrow shared a photo of the 23-year-old athlete, who sported most of his gameday look at Paul Brown Stadium in Cincinnati.
“Ohhhhhhh babyyyyyyy,” Holzmacher captioned the post on her Instagram story, re-sharing a photo from the Bengals’ account.
The first overall pick in this year’s draft, the Burrow era begins in Cincinnati this season following the release of longtime quarterback Andy Dalton, who signed with the Dallas Cowboys in the spring.
In the hours leading up to April’s virtual NFL draft, Holzmacher — who has been linked to Burrow since 2017 — trolled her boyfriend while celebrating her Word Hunt victory.
“These things are about to be the best thing to happen to me and the worse thing to happen to joe,” Holzmacher posted to social media at the time. “Btw he’s beaten my [sic] 64 times in word hunt so my mocking victory response is well earned and overdue.”
Holzmacher, an Ohio State University graduate, supported Burrow — a former Buckeye — during January’s College Football National Championship when the 6-foot-4 quarterback led the LSU Tigers to a 42-25 win over Clemson.
