#Inside look at the Disney hotels where NBA teams are staying

Welcome to the House of Mouse, NBA.

On Tuesday, Disney World’s Gran Destino Tower, Grand Floridian, and Yacht Club resorts were revealed as the three hotels set to house the league’s 22 teams when the 2019-20 season resumes in Orlando, Florida, next month. The arrangements are based on team seeding.

Lauded as luxury resorts — as Disney’s hotel tier is broken up into the deluxe, moderate, and value categories — the top-seeded teams will stay at the Gran Destino Tower, followed by the middle group at the Grand Floridian, and the remaining at the Yacht Club.

Players will have access to a variety of amenities, including a players-only lounge at the hotels, along with pools, barbers, manicurists, pedicurists, and a 24-hour concierge, per The Athletic. Additionally, daily entertainment will be comprised of movie screenings, DJ sets, video games, lawn games, and ping pong. There will also be an opportunity for players to attend other games.

As for where LeBron James and Giannis Antetokounmpo will lay their heads at night, they’ll be staying at one of Disney’s newest establishments.

Described as “Victorian elegance meets modern sophistication,” the Grand Floridian is home to several notable restaurants, including the heralded Victoria & Albert’s, as well as a pool and health club. Epitomizing “the formal grace of a grand New England-style yacht club,” Disney’s Yacht Club Resort opened in 1990 and features 630 rooms. Located next to Disney’s Beach Club Resort and across the way from Disney’s Boardwalk, the four-and-a-half-star Yacht Club offers guests a selection of pool areas and restaurants, including the staple Yachtman’s Steakhouse. Guests of the Yacht Club can access the Hollywood Studios and Epcot parks via boat, walking paths, or the new Skyliner gondola system. The Yacht Club is also an 11-minute drive to the Wide World of Sports.
