#Insane video shows moment big rig triggers massive crash that killed 11

Wild video captured a semi-truck’s deadly rampage down a California highway that claimed 11 lives.

The dramatic online footage shows the big rig traveling along Interstate 5 in south Sacramento on Tuesday at around 5:40 p.m., when it suddenly plows into several vehicles, causing one to flip over.

Authorities say the driver of the truck, which was hauling plywood, failed to slow down as it approached slower traffic.

The massive crash resulted in the death of 39-year-old father Joel David Broussard, the Sacramento Bee reported. Two others suffered minor injuries.

Broussard of Elk Grove was pronounced dead at the scene, the news outlet reported, citing California Highway Patrol.

The victim was driving a red Chrysler 300 – one of the vehicles rear-ended by the out-of-control truck.

Investigators do not believe that alcohol or drugs were a factor in the collision.
