#I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? Releases Main Trailer & Theme Songs

A new main PV trailer and theme songs have been released for the upcoming I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? TV anime series. The anime is scheduled to begin broadcasting in Japan on January 4, 2025. 

The new trailer previews the main opening and ending theme songs. The opening theme is “Neet In Jam” by REAL AKIBA BOYZ loves Shoko Nakagawa (a music group which consists of the dance unit REAL AKIBA BOYZ and singer Shoko Nakawagawa). Halko Momoi wrote the song’s lyrics, while Clammbon member Mito scored and arranged the music.

Meanwhile, the ending theme is “NEETopia.” performed by Hinaki Yano as her main character, Shizuri Ideura. 

Hisashi Saito (Kuroitsu-san from the Monster Development Department) is directing the anime, with Takashi Aoshima (The 100 Girlfriends Who Really, Really, Really, Really, Really Love You) as series screenwriter, Masahiko Suzuki (Trapped in a Dating Sim: The World of Otome Games is Tough for Mobs) as character designer, and CMJK as music composer. Quad is handling the animation production.

The anime is based on the romantic comedy web manga series, written and illustrated by Kotatsu, with Yakitomato credited with the storyboarding. It was initially launched on Twitter as a self-published webcomic on Twitter on January 25, 2020 with the Japanese title NEET Kunoichi to Nazeka Dousei Hajimemashita. 

The series was later re-published in Niconico Seiga’s No 9. Comic on February 22, 2024. Ten digital volumes have been released by Kadokawa under its Dengeki Comics EX label as of March 2023. Three print volumes have also been released by ASCII Media Works as of March 2023, with a fourth volume set for release on December 27, 2024. 

HIDIVE will be streaming I’m Living with an Otaku NEET Kunoichi!? and describes the main synopsis as: 

In order to protect an ordinary businessman, Tsukasa Atsumi, from demons, a genius kunoichi, Shizuri Ideura, signs a master-servant contract with him on the condition that she stays with him. Despite her cool appearance of defeating demons, Shizuri is an otaku NEET who spends all her time playing video games. While Shizuri is spoiled by Tsukasa and leads a lazy cohabitation life, the quirky Kunoichi gather together… A romantic comedy about living together with a genius Kunoichi who is an otaku and a NEET!
