Around 17 years ago, the Xbox 360 flooded into living rooms and basements everywhere, along with its iconic controller. Now, the popular gaming peripheral and retro accessories manufacturer Hyperkin is remaking that controller for modern consoles and PCs.

I don’t know about you guys, but the Xbox 360 controller is one of my all-time favorites. It’s right up there with the ridiculous N64 contraption. Using that same controller on a modern PC sounds nice, and soon you’ll be able to do that.

Hyperkin just announced its upcoming Xenon controller, which brings back that 17-year-old design with modern features. We’re talking about a 3.5mm headphone jack, a detachable USB-C cable, and newer devices’ menu, view, and share buttons.

Hyperkin chose the name as a throwback to Microsoft’s original codename for the Xbox 360, Xenon, which makes sense. According to the company, this is an officially licensed remake and will be available in four colors. You can go with the classic white or choose black, red, or pink.

Unfortunately, we don’t have any pricing or release date details to share. We’ve seen similar throwback retro controllers like the Hyperkin Duke retail for around $70, so we’ll have to wait and see.
