#Anohana Hops Aboard 10th Anniversary Celebrations With Chichibu Railway

The 10th-anniversary celebrations for Anohana: The Flower We Saw That Day keeps chugging along, this week announcing that the hometown for the series, Chichibu, will see its trains wear the TV anime series. Chichibu Railway’s SL Paleo Express steam train will have an Anohana head plate, while the regular trains will be decked out in Anohana decals.

SL Paleo Express steam train will be turned into the SL Anohana 10th Anniversary for the duration of the collaboration, with games, cosplay events, and more running on the train during the period. Certificates (above) featuring the illustration of Menma holding flowers will also be given out to riders during the event.

The regular Chichibu Railway trains will have a special “Super Peace Busters Train” that will be run on Saturdays and during holidays on the line. The train will be covered with decals and posters featuring Menma, Jun from The Anthem of the Heart, and Aoi from Her Blue Sky, all works created by the Super Peace Busters team and set in Chichibu.

The SL Anohana 10th Anniversary starts on August 1, while the Super Peace Busters Train rides on July 29 to August 29 with events happening in the stations during the time.
