#Delayed New Saga Anime Will Premiere in July 2025, Trailer and Key Visual Revealed

The New Saga TV anime, which was supposed to begin airing in July 2023 prior to a delay, will finally premiere this July. There’s a trailer and key visual to go along with the premiere window announcement, as well as a number of new cast reveals.
The latter includes Kaori Maeda as Mileina, Hiroki Yasumoto as Zentos, Riho Sugiyama as Miranda, Rie Hikisaka as Gou, and Tetsu Inada as Gazas.
There are also changes to the production credits. Previously, it was announced that New Saga was directed by Norikazu Ishigouoka (Hortensia Saga assistant director) with Kenta Ihara (Tomodachi Game) as series composer and SOIL&”PIMP”SESSIONS’ Shachou and Hironori Anazawa (Scarlet Nexus) as music composers. Sotsu, Makaria, and Yokohama Animation Laboratory were the listed animation production companies.
Now, Naoki Mizusawa is directing with Naoki Horiuchi (The Weakest Tamer Began a Journey to Pick Up Trash director) as series unit director. Sotsu is still around, but is co-producing with Studio Clutch with assistance from STUDIO MASSKET. The series composer and music composer credits remain the same.
Additionally, 朝陽暖 was announced as the character designer.
New Saga (Tsuyokute New Saga) is based on the Alphapolis-published light novel series written by Masayuki Abe and illustrated by Ryuuta Fuse, which has 10 volumes published between April 2013 to July 2018. Alpha Manga describes the manga adaptation from Jun Miura as:
