Deadline has reported today that the Hollywood live-action adaptation of Makoto Shinkai‘s Your Name. anime film has lost its director Lee Isaac Chung due to scheduling conflicts. According to sources, Paramount and Bad Robot, who are producing the film, are quickly looking for a replacement, having already approached a few unnamed directors.

Chung is the second director to leave the project, with The Amazing Spider-Man director Marc Webb originally helming the adaptation but left due to unknown reasons. Chung was working off a script by Emily V. Gordon (The Big Sick) after several had been written, including one by Eric Heisserer (Arrival), who reimagined the story with a Native American girl living in a rural area and a boy from Chicago.
